Labor unions today are under ever-increasing economic pressure from all sides. In order for us to remain competitive and thrive in NYC, we'll need to rely on what has always been our greatest asset- our unity. 

 

As a former Union Board Trustee and Business Manager, I have personally known the tremendous responsibility of advocating for and investing on behalf of members and their loved ones, particularly when it comes to their physical and mental health. 

 

The healthcare market today can be daunting to navigate. We are wading through a sea of options with little to no cost or outcome transparency and the stakes are high. The simple truth, however, is that we are all hemorrhaging vital fund assets in the form of skyrocketing healthcare costs.
